Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mora, operated by Meetmora, LLC (“Mora,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service. Mora is built for managers running one-on-one meetings, and we treat the notes and relationships it holds as sensitive.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, workspace details, and authentication data, provided directly or through your sign-in provider.
- Content you create — team members you add, meeting notes and agendas, goals, temperatures, and questionnaire responses.
- Connected services — when you link a calendar or video-conferencing provider, we access the data needed to schedule and manage meetings.
- Usage and device data — basic logs, device and browser details, and diagnostic information used to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the service;
- generate AI summaries, briefings, and relationship insights for you;
- schedule meetings and send pre-meeting check-ins to the people you invite;
- communicate with you about your account and the service; and
- keep the service secure and comply with legal obligations.
3. AI processing
To generate agenda suggestions, meeting summaries, briefings, and relationship profiles, we send relevant content — including your meeting notes, your goals, and the names of the people you manage — to Anthropic (Claude). We also use OpenAI for text embeddings. Both act as our subprocessors.
We do not permit these providers to use your content to train their models, and content is processed only to return results to you.
4. Subprocessors
We share information only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
| Provider | What it receives |
|---|---|
| Anthropic | Meeting notes, goals, and the names of people you manage (AI generation) |
| OpenAI | Meeting content, for text embeddings |
| Neon | Database hosting — all application data |
| Vercel | Application hosting |
| Clerk | Your sign-in and identity (managers only) |
| Stripe | Your billing details (managers only). We never see your card number. |
| Postmark | Email delivery — your address, and your reports' addresses for check-ins |
| PostHog | Product analytics. Configured to record no page content — no names, notes, or goals. |
| HubSpot | Your contact details as the account holder. Never data about the people you manage. |
| Calendar events, if you connect Google Calendar |
We also share information when required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Meeting notes are private to the manager and are never shown to the people they manage.
A data processing agreement (DPA) is available on request — email privacy@meetmora.io.
5. Google user data
If you connect Google Calendar, Mora requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope. We use it only to:
- create the 1:1 events you schedule, on your own calendar;
- invite the person you're meeting as an attendee;
- add a Google Meet link to those events;
- update or cancel those events when you change or delete a 1:1; and
- read your busy times so we can warn you when a proposed 1:1 clashes with something else.
We only ever write to your calendar — never to the calendar of the person you manage. They receive the invite as an attendee, as they would from any calendar invitation.
We do not use Google calendar data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train AI models, and we do not allow humans to read it except where required for security, to comply with the law, or with your explicit permission.
Mora's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings → Connections, which revokes our access. You can also revoke it directly from your Google account permissions.
6. People you manage
The people you have 1:1s with do not have accounts and never sign up. On your behalf as the account holder, we process:
- their name, work email, job title, pronouns, and start date;
- what they write in pre-meeting check-ins;
- your private notes about them, and the goals you track with them; and
- an AI-generated summary of your working relationship with them, derived from those notes.
They are told all of this on the check-in page they receive, along with how to contact us to access or delete their data.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we cancel your subscription immediately and keep your data for 30 days in case the deletion was a mistake — after which it is permanently deleted.
When you offboard someone you manage, we keep your 1:1 history (it is your record of your own management) but remove their identifying details — name, email, job title, pronouns, and profile notes — and delete the AI-generated profile of them, 90 days after offboarding.
One honest limitation:if you wrote a person's name inside your own free-form notes, that text remains as you wrote it. We remove the structured personal data we hold about them, but we do not alter the contents of your writing. If you need notes removed entirely, contact us.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@meetmora.io.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and operate the service, and a limited set for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
11. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by email or in the app.
